Rom 12:3 For by the grace given to me I say......
It does not matter how good or bad your yesterday was, or even this morning, today you can expect good and better. Grace (God giving us undeserved help) is alway available not based upon a thing we did or will do it is based upon who God is.
The apostle Paul who wrote the major part of the New Testament started out arresting and murdering followers of Christ. In his writings he said; "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.". 1 CO15:10. If God can take this man from what he had done against the people of God to being one of the most powerful influences, in the world, for Christ, His grace can do a work in you and me also. We just need to let it and him do their work.
Grace says almighty God is there with you, ready to pick you up, strengthen, you guide you, enable you to do better today. This is the message of Philippians 4:13; "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me".
The Christian life should always be positive and optimistic. Not because of who we are, what we have or we can do but because of who God is and what he can do in his love, mercy and grace in you and for you.
Psa 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
